Mr. Hollingshurst me and my little brother would love to cycle to school. Are there any facilities for me to park my bike for the day?. My brother would be on the back of my Mum's bike, so she would not need to leave her bike. Thank you.

Hi Lewis - good question. We have been thinking about this recently. Mr Parker has been finding out prices of bike racks. We hope that we will soon have some at school. We want to encourage as many people as possible to walk and ride to school. We will be talking about this in assemblies and the School Council will be discussing this soon. I remember learning about Florence Nightingale.Mum is a nurse and she told me a lot about Florence.And the Fire of london there was a great big fire and the fire got bigger and bigger.The houses were made of sticks and they also got burnt down. Peter had a diary but not the same as ours. He wrote about the fire in his diary and it was in 1666. Thank you for reminding me Mr Stockharm. I really enjoyed the P.E. session.

Greetings from sunny Spain. Hope you all had a fab Easter and are all back working hard again.
I am really enjoying myself here. The weather is really hot and sunny and I am enjoying having lunch outside at the many cafes in the area I live in. Many thanks again for the generous gift you all gave me. I have used my euros wisely on Spanish lessons. I have 2 hours of Spanish every week day and I am gradually becoming more fluent and people are beginning to understand me. I have made some ridiculous mistakes when I have been out and about and on my first day at the gym I told the receptionist that " I don´t speak the card" when I meant to say "I don´t have my card". Even teachers make mistakes!
Thank you to all the Reception children for my "Thank Crunchie" last Friday - it made my day. Hope you are all fit and well.

Tendai, unfortunately I will not be teaching you history! Mrs Auld has been teaching you history during my planning time on a Wednesday or Thursday morning. The class has learnt about Florence Nigtingale, seaside holidays in the past and I think you are learning about the Great Fire of London at the moment.

Hi i love reading it is good fun i like it very much.

I think that school is great fun especally when it is p.e or art. I find it great when I make some new friends because I can play games with them most of all playing chase and most of all I like working!!!

Sophie, I've been to Cadbury's World as well. It's great when you get to taste the chocolate and they also give you free bars to take home! I wish we could go on a school trip to Cadbury's World.

Dear Mr. Hollingshurst, I would like to make a suggestion... I see on newsround about a school that did exercises in the morning before their lessons started, I thought that this would be a really good idea for us to do to help us feel more awake! Please can you think about this and see if anyone else thinks that it is a good idea.

Two really big thank yous! First one to all the children who were able to bring exotic fruit in to school on Wednesday. We all really enjoyed investigating them and tasting them. They were all delicious. The second is to Mr and Mrs Gilmour for their lovely message. It's a joy to see the children blossom and know the hard work was worth it.

It's long overdue but I thought it time to mention how impressed my wife and I have been with the increased level of achievment at the school and the continous efforts from the staff to go above and beyond their duties.The Christmas concert in particular was a real high note and the perfect end to a great year.Oscar and Florence are extremely happy at school and we could not ask for any more.Keep up the good work Mr H and the rest of the team.Two happy parents - Ed and Nova Gilmour.
